16 × 20 x 1.5 inches, mixed media on clear primed linen canvas.
This painting is inspired by the poem “I am always on my way” found in my book ‘I Dance Between Them’.
The poem traces the journey toward our best and wisest selves—those aspects of us present from the very beginning of our lives, yet sometimes hidden beneath layers of trauma or surface-level experiences. It is a hopeful meditation on the light that resides within each of us.
A snippet from the poem:
…
Since I was born I knew you.
You were down in the deepest well
of my being, sitting in the dark,
stubborn but singing quietly to me
and I could hear your voice
…
All original artwork is sold unframed and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.
I include a photo of myself holding each painting in the listings so it can be viewed at human scale.
