This painting was inspired the poem “Galway (Gaillimh)” found in my book I Dance Between Them.
The poem was inspired by my time living in the city of Galway, located on the West Coast of Ireland. It was the first place I ever moved to on my own, right out of high school. It is one of the most vibrant and magical cities and I have many happy memories there.
The painting is 24 × 30 x 1.5 inches, mixed media on clear primed cotton canvas.
