This painting was inspired the poem “Pacific Northwest” found in my book ‘I Dance Between Them’.
The poem was inspired by my childhood and early adulthood living in Vancouver, specifically its forests and mountains and their connection to water. The colours are meant to represent the trees, rivers, rain, lichens, mosses, and fungi found in PNW forests.
