This painting was inspired the poem “I wasn’t here just now” found in my book ‘I Dance Between Them’.
The poem examines where the mind goes when some of us “zone out” during boring every-day occurrences. On the outside we may look neutral, but inside our mind is dancing, doing flips, and imagining whole other worlds.
The original painting is 30 x 40 x 1.5 inches, mixed media on clear primed cotton canvas.
